Dates in the States has been nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award. This certainly came to us as a delightful surprise! We have met so many other fellow bloggers out there that have been a huge influence and a big part of our success. Being a part of the blogger world is like being a part of family – everyone is so close! Here Are 7 Things About Us:

• Shane and I are both from Pennsylvania (we actually grew up 10 minutes from each other and never knew it)!
• We met at a mutual friends graduation party and have been together ever since (4 years later)!
• We love traveling and dream of visiting places like Japan, Peru, Ireland… while marking every National Park and USA State off our bucket list.
• We hope to create an online community for travelers and bloggers while also hoping to monetize this blog someday so we can travel from our success.
• Animal lovers and hiking enthusiasts. We have 2 dogs and a cat who all love the outdoors just as much as us.
• We love our Netflix binge nights. Our favorite shows at the moment are Gotham, The Strain, Vikings, and Banshee.
• We are a Jeep family! Shane has a Jeep Wrangler, and Crystal has a Jeep Commander. Crystal’s parents also have a Jeep Wrangler and a Jeep Cherokee. It’s a Jeep thing!

Anisa was our first interviewee for our monthly travel blogger interview series (see post here). For a fairly new blogger she has been doing a wonderful job and I see her being very successful here in the blogging realm!
